Jimmy Kimmel had a lot to say about Elon Musk's Thursday, December 5, meeting with Republican legislators, likening it to a child's visit to the cockpit of an airplane.
billionaires Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy visited Congress on Thursday to go over ideas for their Department of Government Efficiency Group (DOGE) sponsored under Donald Trump. Later that evening, Kimmel expressed his opinions on the meeting in his Jimmy Kimmel Live opening monologue.
"Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk, the Lenny and Squiggy of Trump Town, met with Republicans in Washington today to discuss their newly proposed Department of Government Efficiency," Kimmel said. "We are not sure exactly what transpired in the conference. We can suppose that many high fives were missed.
The late-night host went on, "But other than that, all we know is that one of the Congress people they met with was Marjorie Taylor Green, who afterwards, she told reporters Musk said he'd be putting lawmakers on a 'naughty list' and a 'nice list.'"
