However, he sustained a knee injury just days before he was due to start training. The accusations were investigated by the Royal Military Police, but no charges were ever filed. However, the accusations have dogged Harry ever since. In 2012, when Harry was serving in Afghanistan, he was photographed playing polo with a bandaged knee. This led to renewed speculation that Harry had faked his injury in 2003.
Harry has always denied faking his injury, and there is no evidence to suggest that he did. However, the accusations have undoubtedly damaged his reputation.
