Trump Tries to HUMILIATE Melania as She REFUSES to be Near Him

Melania Trump was 'humiliated' by Donald Trump's affair with Stormy Daniels and will 'push' him to take the stand and 'defend himself,' one of her former aides said.

'I spent a ton of time with her when the news was breaking about Stormy Daniels, Stephanie Grisham said on CNN on Wednesday. 'And she didn't take it lightly at all.'

During Melania Trump's time as first lady, Grisham served as her spokesperson and chief of staff before resigning on the day of the January 6th insurrection. '

I would imagine that she is pushing him to make this stop. 'I would imagine that she will push him to go on the stand and defend himself,' Grisham noted.

'Because this is this is very, very embarrassing for her. It's humiliating for her, and I can guarantee you that she's not happy right now and that he's quite worried about that.' The former president on Tuesday lost his second last-ditch bid to delay his April 15 trial on criminal charges stemming from hush money payments to the former porn star during the 2016 election.

The trial will mark the first time in history that an ex-president is criminally prosecuted in court.

Trump faces 34 felony counts in the case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who is seeking to charge Trump with using his business records to hide the $130,000 hush-money payment to Daniels.

Daniels claimed she had a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006, shortly after Melania had given birth to their son Barron.

The payments were allegedly made to keep Daniels from speaking publicly about the affair in the final weeks of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump denies the affair and calls the trial a politically-motivated 'witch hunt.'

Prosecutors, however, argue that Trump reimbursed his then-lawyer Michael Cohen in a series of installment payments processed by his business, which prosecutors say were fraudulently disguised as corporate legal expenses in violation of New York law.

Daniels and Cohen are both expected to take the stand as witnesses for the prosecution once the trial begins.

It remains unclear if Trump will take testify. The case is expected to last for around six weeks. The former president on Tuesday lost his second last-ditch bid to delay his April 15 trial on criminal charges stemming from hush money payments to the former porn star during the 2016 election.
